What is web hosting?

With web hosting you rent space on our servers to make your website available online. What a package includes is set out in its description in the shop.

What is a virtual server?

A virtual server (VM) gives you computing power, memory and storage for your own applications. You can combine the resources freely and adjust them to your needs.

What is a private cloud (Nextcloud)?

A private cloud based on Nextcloud is your own storage to keep, share and collaborate on files — with full control over your data.

Can I move my website and email to 1st Cloud?

Yes. Just get in touch – we'll help you move your website and mailboxes. We also migrate existing virtual servers from other providers.

How reliable is my hosting?

We run a highly available, redundant infrastructure that is monitored around the clock. In addition, we back up all services off-site every day for emergencies.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is held on our own hardware in a data centre in the EU and processed in line with the GDPR. The data centre is certified to ISO/IEC 27001.

What support do you offer?

Personal support by email and through our ticket system, in German, Czech and English.
